Foreword

Education is a continous phase of all aspects of growth of every student and as educators, we want all our students to succeed in their chosen endeavor, thus transform their lives into being productive citizens creating impact to local and global communities. This is how NEUST is committed to students, their parents and guardians and to the country in general in the attainment of common goal and that is education for all.

The Student Handbook has been prepared to guide students to valuable information concerning student's life in this University. It explains where they should go and the persons whom they should see in cases they have questions and concerns. Policies, procedures and guidelines related to academic and non-academic matter, basic services on student welfare and development which are necessary to improve their well-being are explicitly explained. Institutional student program and services on admission, scholarships and financial assistance, food and health, safety and security, housing, multi-faith, foreign and international students, students with special needs an persons with disabilities, literary-culture and the arts, sports development, social and community involvement programs, and other programs and services and other aspects of student development are likewise expounded so that students would become knowledgeable of the parameters within which NEUST functions.

As an educational institution, NEUST seeks to produce graduates who are holistically developed, well-rounded citizens and leaders who can certainly uplift human conditions, locally globally competitive, and thus, contribute to the progress of this country

It is the responsibility of all students to enthusiastically familiarize themselves with the contents of this Student Handbook to ensure the gain that NEUST compromises to them.
